Our last month of stuff.

Ahhhh, I can now breath a half sigh of relief. Kind of. At 9 am this morning I finished my last final. There is something depressing about knowing that all you are going to do is study every moment you are awake during finals week. But now I am done and slowly the final grades are showing up periodically on line. Break will officially start when I can rest easy knowing I finished what I started. No matter how much you know it always seems like you don't know enough. It reminds me that I am so small and constantly need to rely on God through this. After all, that's why I'm here.

I'm sitting outside typing this. I always forget that laptops are mobile and can make these situations more enjoyable. The birds, sun and just being outside is nice. I almost forgot about those things.

Anyway, these pictures aren't great but it's what we have been up to. No major trips, no crazy happenings, just normal life. It's been nice.

I used to say I don't like cat's. They make me sneeze. And they aren't my favorite. But, but, let me tell you, I think I can tolerate them. And actually appreciate this one below. You see, I work hard and take pride in a nice yard. With the little time I have I like to fertilize and manually water the lawn. Then you get these gophers that come in and eat the heck out of your yard. I put a hose in the hole and water shoots out all the other holes but no gopher. Then the next morning there is another fresh hole as if the gopher is saying, "screw you!" The other morning I woke up to this cat seeking prey on this gopher. Look at him sitting quietly and patiently by the hole. I now like cats.
Big year for family. Em's engagement, Ashley's baby and Jay's 50th. Below are the some gifts Katie sent out. We gave Jay 50 ping pong balls with writing on them.

I made the cards. Katie came up with a new company name for my card making. "Slart." S.L. art. Just remember that when we go big.Rae had a birthday party at a place called, "Time in a Bottle." Rae goes big on everything. She is a tremendous host and it's always fun to be apart of here get togethers.
Kurt, Barry, I enjoying the food.

Our church put on a trick or treat thing again. It is a huge event every year. You can see pictures of last years if you go to last october '08 in the blog. This year we were apart of the treat trail. We set up our tent and sat outside "in the woods" and passed out candy.

Below, some of my classmates came over for lunch and took a break from the stress of school. Erik and Bjorn from Iceland.
Katie has been quite the athlete. I'm proud of her. The little things she does that would really bother me if she didn't do them. That sounds wrong but I'm glad I married a woman that is health conscious and knows so much and takes care of herself. She is having fun and enjoys time exercising with the girls.
So there has been more that we have been up to but i'm tired of sitting and have been for months. We will write again and more frequently now that school is done til January.
