What's on the agenda for today?

Some are old some are new. We made our way to Birch Bay a couple weeks ago to enjoy the weather and see some family.  Leila got to run on the beach and revisit old yellowspots created months ago.

Grandma and Great granny lovin' on Aves.
Our fourth stop in 5 hours. Based on these pictures you wouldn't think she had a rough time.

On our way home, I had to rearrange the whole car just so Katie could is in the back with our fussy June.

Above, Avery leaving her mark.
When I'm not working, I'm playing hard with Katie and our friends. Above, Jeff w/ son Jadon, wife Rhoda on couch prego and sick w/ second child, newly engaged Jason and Rachel. Below, Jeff and I on the Fish Lake Trail in the early hours before the heat of the day.

 "Avery questioning my judgement."

I love the above. Avery sleeping  the day away while at Silverwood with the fam.
My dad commented that Leila lays around a lot. For a dog that has a decent amount of energy, he is right.

  She usually lays by Avery.

I'm Two.

The most athletic member of our family is celebrating her second birthday this month.  I say "month" cause that's what comes w/ being a stray- no papers, no birthdate. A complete mystery that has worked so well with our family.

2 Years
A rare moment on the bed. She likes to be a part of Avery's bedtime routine.

Today, at the beach. Visiting Birch bay.
She's two. Growing in maturity and thriving in fitness.  A perfect mix of energy and respect. A pup that understands the importance of Avery to us and embraced her as a part of her "pack."(she wags her tail when she sees her.) It's been a fun two years. They say everyone has one good dog in their lifetime. I got mine right when I needed it most.
