Spokane!!! and some...

What a crazy few days! Here is a look back at what I(Scott) did.

Birch Bay sunset last Thursday. ( June 4)
An Ice cream shop
Another ice cream shop
Friday night I met up with Joel in Bellingham. He lives there and is currently in school to study medicine. We went to the park to throw a football before dinner. It was a great time and he needed it. His friends are limited in Bellingham.

Look Joel a single girl you should marry.

SPOKANE!!! This is usually the first thing I see when I enter that city. I know, I don't know why I go back either. The guy with the weird face is Jason...and Jeremy.
I arrived at 8:30 am and right away we walked to Rockwood bakery. The South Hill of Spokane looks a lot like this photo. Trees on both sides of the road, houses with character and active friendly people.
Rockwood bakery.
We caught a quick breakfast of bagels and danishes. We can always count on Jason to make a photo awkward.
We continued our walk to Manito park. This is the Liliac Gardens.
The Japanese Garden.
I had to throw this picture in for Katie. If Katie ever got a tatoo it would say, "Rosauers". Rosauers is a great grocery store.

To add to the already entertaining weekend Brandon and I joined Jeremy and Jason in their softball league. They gave Brandon a skin tight t-shirt and sweatpants with a whole in the crotch. We lost the game but it was probably the most fun I've had playing softball.
Shortly later we surprised Jake, another good friend, on his birthday. I worked my way into this box.

Jake (black) along with everyone else got a kick out of the whole thing.

Against popular demand I stayed clothed.
Reunions are wonderful!

Brandon about to encounter some unfortunate circumstances.
After Jakes birthday gathering a small group of us headed to "The Elk" for some good conversation and apple cider.
Sunday was just as busy. It included a par 3 golf course(five guys, one club each), breakfast at "Old European", a coyote sighting, a bike ride to Bill and Colleen's home, and "the Trinity" a pizza consisting of chicken, bacon and pepperoni.
Now I am back at the commune here in Birch Bay awaiting the arrival of my wife. Oh, by the way, today is our anniversary! June 10.
I celebrated by cleaning out gutters and replacing vents. No, really, it was a great time! 70 degrees, nothing but sun and the sounds of the ocean. Katie is having a tupperware party tomorrow so even if I was with her I would be cleaning the house.
