You trackin' with me? Yes daddy I am. Avery is focusing more and more each day. With the exception of a couple delays here or there she can look directly at you and acknowledge your existence. This is a wonderful and fulfilling thing! And as those facial muscles begin to tone up her expressions will include smiles, laughs, and grins! Here we are on our second Saturday morning date. It was similar to last week. More pooing, peeing, burping but this time she was awake.
Today, Avery had an arrival shower. I've never heard of one of these but it was an excuse for people to get together and see our sweet girl. Some 50-60 people showed up to catch up, eat, and meet little Aves.
Our lovely cooks and hostesses. Rachelle, Teresa, Viv, and Kathy. Thank you ladies!

Isaac was our official parking attendant. |

Avery will rival the cuteness of these girls. Love these three! |

What a blessing! Thanks to all who continue to pray for us. And thanks for the gifts as well! |
Kevin and Linda brought home some tasty cakes from Pure Bliss in Bellingham. Yum!

After the party some of us headed to the beach...

Leila doing what she's told: Digging for oysters. |
I wasn't going to let the girls leave without holding a starfish. Leila and I traveled the lengths of the beach to bring one to them.
I bit of a goofy picture. This is a panoramic taken from our cousin Aaron's phone. It will put into perspective how many people (some not shown) attended Avery's arrival shower.
There you have it. We are looking forward to the arrival of my family next month. I can't wait for them to see and hold our little June bug!
