Two weekends ago we had our first annual "Bike to the Beach" fundraiser for Wheels for Humanity. "Wheels" takes students from Loma Linda, the majority P.T. students, to Africa and gives them wheelchairs.
Our class wanted to do a ride together so we decided to get paid to ride our bikes. We started small but the activities director at LLU was soon in contact with me about making it a bigger event. I guess they have been trying to get something like this going for awhile. They paid for all our food and supplies and are going to give us all the resources we need for next years event.

Stephanie and her husband giving homeless guys the left over food. These guys were hilarious, "Henry! Get over here we got food!"
We had a turn around 15 miles inland. Here are some of us.
We were recently entertained by our new friends Adam and Jill. Adam owns a fitness center in the area. He reminds me of a great friend of mine, Brian Foster. He's encouraging, loves God, has absolutely no ego, and is extremely competitive. That competitiveness carried over into this bean bag toss. We played for hours. I was undefeated until the last two games. This is where we will be for the fourth of July. You all are welcome to join us.They live on a golf course. I took Katie out and we attempted to play the 11th hole.As the school year wound to a halt we enjoyed time with our friend. This get together was a birthday party for our friend Kurt. Here is Katie and Jody (Kurt's wife) trying to figure out the oven.
Kurt and Jeff. Jeff is a P.T. at Kaiser in Riverside, CA and has been a real encouragement for me.Kurt grilling steak.
Flowers from our backyard.
We had a party at our house. Katie made an impressive meal that everyone thoroughly enjoyed.
