The holidays...

Kitchens have never smelled so good. Alone they are great but together when they cook, I want a place at the table.
It's Christmas time and get togethers are a must. It wouldn't be complete without a party at the Bouma's.

Jeff attended a bike fitting course in Seattle so I got to watch and learn from another PT as we adjusted Curt on his bike.

The ladies always go all out. This was my place setting.
Dinner in our sweaters.
If you haven't figured it out we had an ugly Christmas sweater party at Curt and Jody's home. The white elephant gift exchange was a hoot. Jody ended up with this wonderful piece of artwork.
Luke and Cole playing santa on Christmas eve.
I couldn't resist this five dollar bone that smelled like peanut butter. It's Leila's favorite flavor and her eyes say how excited she was to get her teeth on it!
You probably heard about all the rain we have been getting down here. It is overwhelming and especially when you have a puppy who doesn't really get why you aren't taking her for walks.
Unfortunately Leila was still on house rest from her spading. Otherwise she would have loved messing around in the pond that found itself in our back yard.
White water rafting anyone. This is mountain view road turned river. Check out Youtube and all the videos of Loma Linda and the massive storms.

Mud mud mud! This road is now a dirt road.

Below is a video of Leila in action. Check out her style.

We frequent this dog park. Looks like we won't be going there for awhile after the rain brought down this tree and crushed the fence.
Tomorrow night Katie's aunt, uncle and cousins arrive. Disney, Joshua Tree and other adventures are in the mix for this Christmas vacation.

Glad to see you are doing well. I saw Loma Linda on Good Morning America and instantly prayed for your safety. Also, tell your friends they know how to host the best parties! I love all the little details. How thoughtful.
