Peak 7 Bocce Ball Tournament.

Today we participated in the Peak7 Bocce Ball Tournament.  We teamed up with Jeff and Rhoda for some fun.
 Let the games begin!

Loran, a long time friend heads up Peak7 with her husband Ryan. The organization takes under-privileged kids on backpacking, climbing, rafting and snow-shoeing trips. Most importantly, they share Jesus with them.
There were about 36 teams. Some co-ed some not. There were prizes for best team name, best costumes and the winners of course.

We started terribly losing our first three matches. We recovered and won our next three to finish .500.

Avery did well, however she did require a feeding that took Kate out of the games for a bit and we had to hold her during some throws. (Wish we would have snap some pics of that!)

The best part of the day was running into old friends and making new ones.  There are so many neat people that attended this event and it was great to reconnect.

It had been about 7 years since Katie talked with Amy (their blog is listed on ours).  Her husband Jonathan is a PT as well here in Spokane.
We had a great time. Olive garden and Luiges brought the food and Cyrus O'leary's brought the dessert.
